Project Overview

The new building based on the Byrom Street Campus, has been developed to accommodate the recently vacated premises at Nelson Street. Mechanical and Electrical Works were carried out throughout the new building to ensure facilities within the research laboratories, teaching room and sport activity areas met the high specifications of the University. The project was a demanding one, and the A&B are pleased and proud that the project was delivered on time, on programme and on budget.

Services Provided:

DHW & CWS System ( CAT 1 & CAT 5 ), LTHW and Plant, Ventilation Systems, Comfort Cooling, Sanitary Fittings, Public Health system, Dry Riser installation, Building Management Systems, External Lighting, General and Emergency Lighting, Mains and Sub Mains, Distribution, Fully Addressable Fire Alarm, Telecom, Data, Door Access, CCTV, Security, Energy saving light system, HV Installation and transformers.

It was another impressive project that we were proud to have been involved with and another scheme we partnered with Laing O’Rourke. The scheme has been fully complete and commissioned and adds to our impressive portfolio of University Projects. As a note we have recently secured the new Sports and Science Building at Liverpool Hope University at their Childwall campus, so we do think we bring some valuable experience to that scheme.
