This £ 17 Million Satellite Radiotherapy Centre for Clatterbridge Hospital in Aintree was completed on time and within Budget by
Laing O’Rourke. The building has surpassed expectations and is now a truly modern world class facility. The Clatterbridge team of physists applied their expertise in commissioning the new radiotherapy treatment machines so they were ready for clinical operation. The Building achieved BREEAM ” Excellent ” status and the building is highly energy efficient with Solar Panels for Hot water and Photovoltaic Panels all contributing the reduce the buildings carbon footprint.

We Designed and Installed the following services to this project:
LPHW Heating Installation, Chilled Water Cooling, Central Rooftop Ventilation Plant and Chillers, Centrally monitored Building Management Systems, Public Health, Domestic Hot & Cold Water services, Internal Gas Installation, Cast Resin Transformers, Back up Generation Plant, Office Lighting (PIR controlled), Office Lighting (daylight dimming), Fully addressable Fire Alarm system, PA installation to activate voice controlled alert and evacuation protocol, Security Systems, DATA, Commissioning and Client Demonstrations.
The scheme has been fully complete and commissioned and adds to our impressive portfolio of Health Schemes. Clatterbridge is very close to our hearts and we try where we can to support them in any fund raising events over the years.
