Pear Tree Academy required specialist MEP systems to support a purpose-built SEND environment for students from Key Stage 3 to post-16. The challenge was delivering a high-quality, compliant solution within a fast-tracked programme while meeting DfE standards.
A&B Engineering delivered the full mechanical, electrical, and plumbing services over a 20-week programme. The scheme included Air Source Heat Pumps, a full sprinkler system, and adaptable MEP systems designed to support the evolving needs of SEND education.
Completed in August 2024, Pear Tree Academy now provides a safe, sustainable, and inclusive learning environment for 133 students. The project demonstrates A&B Engineering’s expertise in delivering high-quality SEND education facilities on accelerated programmes.
