The Rochdale SEND School required specialist mechanical and electrical systems to support students aged 11–19 with EHCPs and autistic spectrum conditions. The challenge was to create a calm, safe, and sensory-considered environment while meeting strict DfE standards.
A&B Engineering delivered the full mechanical and electrical services, carefully designed to support sensory processing and communication needs. Systems were robust, efficient, and unobtrusive, ensuring reliable performance while contributing to a comfortable, supportive learning environment for students and staff.
The completed SEND school provides a safe, inclusive, and purpose-built environment for up to 76 students. The project supports the New Bridge Multi Academy Trust’s specialist provision and demonstrates A&B Engineering’s expertise in delivering tailored M&E solutions for complex educational settings.
