A&B Engineering Raises Over £12,600 for the British Heart Foundation! A&B Engineering is incredibly proud to announce that we have raised £12,605 in support of our Charity Partner of the Year, the British Heart Foundation (BHF)! With an ambitious fundraising target of £15,000, we have already achieved 84% of our goal , marking a fantastic milestone in our fundraising journey. This achievement reflects the generosity, dedication and incredible support of our team, colleagues and supporters, who have come together to make a meaningful difference. The British Heart Foundation carries out vital work funding lifesaving research into heart and circulatory diseases, and we are delighted to play a part in supporting its mission. We are extremely proud of what we have achieved together so far , and we would like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who has contributed and supported our fundraising efforts. As we move closer to our £15,000 target, we look forward to continuing our fundraising journey and making an even greater impact. Together, we are making a difference! ❤️

Project Showcase: Fairmont Cheshire, The Mere A&B Engineering is proud to showcase our completed works at Fairmont Cheshire, The Mere, a prestigious hospitality development delivered in collaboration with Russell WBHO. The successful completion of this project marks another achievement for our team, reflecting our commitment to delivering high-quality mechanical and electrical engineering services. Working alongside Russell WBHO , our team contributed to bringing this impressive development to life, with a strong focus on quality, attention to detail and collaboration throughout the project. The newly completed spaces demonstrate the high standards of workmanship and dedication that have gone into delivering the project. A Memorable Evening with Former US President Barack Obama A&B Engineering recently had the pleasure of attending an exclusive interview event featuring former US President Barack Obama, alongside John Cassell and a representative from Brock Carmichael Architects. The event provided a unique opportunity to hear insights from one of the world's most recognised leaders, with discussions highlighting the importance of leadership, ambition and positive change. It was also a fantastic occasion to strengthen professional relationships and reflect on the opportunities and challenges facing businesses today. Investing in the Next Generation: Our Apprentices, Our Future At A&B Engineering, we recognise that our people are our greatest strength, and investing in the next generation of skilled professionals is essential to the future of our business and the wider construction industry. We are incredibly proud to support 19 apprentices across our business, including 15 Craft Apprentices and 4 Technical Apprentices , all playing an important role in our continued growth and success. From gaining valuable hands-on experience on site to developing technical knowledge and expertise, our apprentices are building the skills, confidence and experience needed to become the industry's future professionals and leaders. Our apprenticeship programme reflects our ongoing commitment to developing talent, creating opportunities and supporting the next generation within the mechanical and electrical engineering sector. We take great pride in watching our apprentices progress, develop their skills and contribute to the successful delivery of our projects. At A&B Engineering, we are not just investing in apprenticeships. We are investing in the future of our industry. A&B Engineering recently attended Place Party 2026, held at the AO Arena in Manchester, for another fantastic evening bringing together professionals from across the property and construction industry. The A&B team was delighted to be joined by guests from M&Y Maintenance and Construction, Liverpool Chamber of Commerce and Sutcliffe, enjoying an evening of networking, new connections and valuable conversations with businesses from across the region. As a Place North Partner Pro, A&B Engineering is proud to continue strengthening its relationship with the Place team. The partnership provides valuable opportunities to connect with key organisations across the industry, develop new relationships and support A&B’s continued growth across the North West and Yorkshire. A&B Engineering is pleased to announce that we have secured the Mechanical & Electrical package for the Prince’s Gate development in Oldham, working alongside Willmott Dixon. The development is targeting energy performance around 70–75% better than current Building Regulations, with completion scheduled for summer 2028. The project represents another important milestone for A&B Engineering as we continue to strengthen our presence across Oldham and the wider Greater Manchester region. The appointment also comes alongside the opening of our new Oldham office, providing A&B Engineering with an even stronger local base to support our clients, partners and projects across the region. We are proud to be contributing to a major regeneration project right on the doorstep of our new office and look forward to working with Willmott Dixon and the wider project team to successfully deliver Prince’s Gate.  Another exciting chapter for A&B Engineering in Oldham.

A&B Engineering Secures First Project with Overbury  We’re pleased to announce that A&B Engineering has secured its first project with Overbury, delivering the mechanical and electrical services for a major office fit out in Manchester. With an M&E package exceeding £10 million, our scope includes electrical distribution, lighting, fire and security systems, ventilation, comfort cooling, BMS controls and public health services. The services have been designed by our in-house design team, with works now beginning on site. We look forward to working with the Overbury team and building a strong and lasting relationship.
