Coach Hene (The King of Coaches) was a name bestowed on the late Coach Emmanuel Kwasi Afranie in recognition of his great contribution to Ghana and the football world. The only Ghanaian coach to have coached all the national teams in Ghana coaching the likes of legendary Abedi Pele, Tony Yeboah, Samuel Osei Kuffour and world stars such as Michael Essien, Sulley Muntari, John Paintsil and many, Coach Afranie had amazing success across the board.

Coach Hene Sports Club has been making a name for itself as the fastest growing sports club in Manchester since the start of 2021. A community football club set up in honour of the late legendary ex-Ghana national team coach E.K. Afranie aiming to make football affordable to kids in Manchester and the North West in the United Kingdom. They look to develop raw talents and give kids the opportunity and confidence to become Great in the future.
